Talcher : (Dilip Kumar Chopdar) DAV Kalinga celebrated its 31st Foundation Day on its premises. The milestone celebration commenced with a traditional Vedic havan ceremony, invoking divine blessings for peace, prosperity, and the continued academic excellence of the institution. The renowned sculptor, Padmashree awardee, Sri. Adweita Charan Gadnayak graced the occasion as the chief guest. Mrs. Ashmita Joshi President Pratibha Mahila Mandal joined the celebration as the Guest of Honour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by prominent dignitaries from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) alongside principals from neighbouring DAV schools, all coming together to witness the school\u2019s historic 31-year journey. Our proud alumna Ms. S. Manisha (OAS) was also invited to be a part of the celebration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event officially opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the esteemed dignitaries. This was followed by a soulful, melodious welcome song performed by the school choir, which set a harmonious tone for the day. Principal Shri Prashant Kumar Panda then delivered the formal welcome address, warmly greeting the gathering of management, guests, and parents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school’s talented dancers captivated the audience with their graceful as well as expressive semi classical and folk dance performance. A brilliant audio-visual presentation showcased the glorious 31-year legacy of DAV Kalinga, beautifully capturing the growth and saga of the institution. Padma Shri Shri Adwaita Charan Gadanayak delivered a powerful speech, highlighting the profound significance, patience, and beauty of stone art. Mrs. Ashmita Joshi gave a motivational address, highly praising the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of the teaching community. Ms. S. Manisha (OAS) shared her heartfelt words of gratitude, attributing her character development and career success to the foundational guidance of her teachers. The institution proudly honoured its top performers for their exceptional academic brilliance. 60 students of class X scoring 90% and above were awarded mementos and merit certificates.18 high-achieving students of CLASS XII were felicitated for their stellar board results. 4 outstanding achievers who cleared the prestigious JEE and NEET examinations were special recipients of accolades for bringing laurels to the school. The grand celebration drew to a successful close with a formal vote of thanks, followed by the serene chanting of the Shantipath. The event stood out as a resounding success, reflecting the rich legacy and bright future of DAV Kalinga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
