A delegation from Tottori Prefectural Government (the prestigious constituency of the ruling PM of Japan Hon’ble Mr Shigeru Ishiba) led by Director Nakashima Konichi visited Chandra Sekhar Academy,Puri (Nursery to Senior Secondary/+2 level)at Puri-Konark Marine Drive Road since 2004 and discussed with the school authority in the presence of India-Japan Friendship Center’s President Srimanta Kumar Dash. They expressed their heartfelt satisfaction over the school’s distinctive approach for it has been the only school in the state where apart from the CBSE curriculum, Japanese language & culture has been taught from Nursery to Senior Secondary / +2 level. They were overwhelmed to know that after graduation +3 passed out poor, meritorious students are imparted a specially designed integrated Japanese language with IT training course under the same roof to enhance employability among marginalized rural youth of coastal Odisha. They expressed their exhilaration when they were briefed that many students of the school have already joined Japanese companies in India and Japan due to this integrated skill-based academic approach. “ We are thrilled to know that Chandra Sekhar Academy has been the ‘Man-Making Factory ‘ that moulds young minds into skilled & resourceful human beings“, said Director Nakashima while interacting.
