Balugaan:-The passing out parade of the second batch of 2025th edition of Agniveer was held at INS Chilika Parade Ground on Thursday afternoon. Out of a total of 2103 Agniveers in this batch, 113 women Agniveers, 270 SSRs and 295 Coast Guard sailors underwent physical and mental training for 16 weeks. The Navy expressed its gratitude to the parents and guardians of Agniveer for their contribution in this grand ceremony for successfully starting a new journey in the Indian Navy to serve the country. INS Chilika Navy Commodore B Deepak Anil, Commanding-in-Chief South NavyThe parade was witnessed by the Commander-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, AVSM, NM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief.
The parade was graced by the presence of senior Naval Officers, Past Naval Officers, Past Naval Officers, and Agniveer’s parents. The successful 16 weeks of training at INS Chilika is not the end but the beginning of a new journey for the Indian Navy where men and women have joined hands to serve the nation as brave warriors in the Indian Navy, enhancing their skills, becoming technically aware, confident, coordinated and committed to working towards a brighter future. This has also influenced Agniveer to work in his own field.The fire fighters advised to support the courage.

On this occasion, the chief guest presented the fire fighter with a medal and trophy.
The best fire fighter was awarded to SSR Shashi B. Kenchbhagal, MR Yatin Mishra, Sailor GD Keshav Suryavanshi, and the best female fire fighter was awarded to SSR Anita Yadav.
For information, out of 2010 fire fighters in the first batch of 2025, 309 female fire fighters and 276 coast guard sailors have completed their initial training at INS Chilika and are currently serving as Veer Sipahi in the Indian Navy.
